The Eyes of Rome provides Skip the Line services for entering the Vatican but it does NOT exempt anyone from passing through the security check line. For those of you who would like to pay extra to shorten this process at Saint Peter's Basilica, there is an additional service available:
Even during the quieter times of the year for tourism, there tends to be a long and grueling line for the security check into Saint Peter’s Basilica. During the spring and fall, the line is around an hour, often in the summer the line is almost 2 hours long. If you would like to ‘Skip the Line,’ there is an extra fee of €15 per person. There are some infrequent instances where this option is not available. Also if you would like Eyes of Rome to handle the tickets for you, please contact us when booking your tour.
Please bare in mind that no one is exempt from the security check under any circumstances. The Skip the Line ticket for the security is only a way to access the front of the line for the metal detectors.
