Hi,
Is it possible to include St.Peter's Basilica to the Vatican Under the Stars tour? My flight will land at noon on May 10 and I have no chance to meet the guide earlier than 4:30pm.
Thanks
Leonard
Hi Leonard,
Thank you for your very interesting question!
Our Private Vatican Under the Stars Tour starts at 7:30pm when you will meet your guide right at your Hotel or Accommodation. Entrance to the Vatican Museums can vary, unfortunately by the time you will reach the Sistine Chapel (where we can have access to the shortcut leading to St.Peter's Basilica), the Basilica will be closed.
Being a religious place its admission is free of charge but a security check is mandatory. In order to avoid a long queue, we recommend you to visit St.Peter's early in the morning (it opens at 7:00am!) or in the afternoon (after 5:30pm if you have the chance), when the large crowds of tourists will have already left the Church.
Please refer to your private guide during the visit! He/She will be happy to provide you with an explanation of the points of interest that you will find inside the Basilica :)
A presto!
